HISTORY:
Donald, an early creator of adventure games for the Apple II, developed the classic "Wonderful World of Eamon" while he was still in college. After joining CE Software, he enhanced the game and it became a seven-part adventure series known as SwordThrust‚Ñ¢.
The Boston Computer Society has presented two awards to CE Software: one to Donald Brown, in 1986, for his contributions to the shareware industry and one to Gil Beecher, author of the award-winning DiskTop‚Ñ¢.
In January 1987, at the MacWorld Expo, Redgate Communications Corporation's readers and editors
(The Macintosh Buyer's Guide) honored Donald. They voted him among the top eighteen "Movers and Shakers" in the Macintosh industry by recognizing him in "The Macintosh 100" awards.
Don Brown was recently named to the MicroTimes list of the "100 most influential people in the microcomputer industry for 1988".
QuicKeys‚Ñ¢ won the MacUser Editor's Choice Award for "Best Product Under $100" in February 1988. QuicKeys also received the 1988 second place Golden Gavel award from MacGuide Magazine.
CE Software has received recognition from virtually every major Macintosh magazine, and all have written feature stories, articles, and/or reviews about CE Software's products.
